Bride
of the Year
About our Competition.
True Bride is a tribute to
all Australian brides and home to the Bride of the Year competition.
True Bride launched our first ever national Bride of the Year competition
in 2001. The 2011 Bride of the Year competition, is our eleventh national
Bride of the Year competition. It’s our way of saying thank
you and helping make your wedding day last just that little bit
longer. Giving you the opportunity to share your day with others,
allowing the memory to live on.
Our entire site is dedicated to real Australian
brides and their weddings. No glamorous models, no fancy location
shoots, no fabrication, but a dedication to ‘True Brides’.
They share with you their romance, their wedding dreams and importantly
their wedding day. Browse through our site and you will see real
life images of beautiful brides, their gowns, their make up, their
photos and their ‘wedding day’.
How
is the Bride of the Year Selected?
Simply, the Bride with most votes
wins. The Competition is open to all Australian Brides who marry
between 1st of October 2009 and 31st December 2011.
To enter you
need to; firstly, select several of your favourite wedding photos
to send us (at least one close up); secondly, confirm your personal
details; and thirdly, tell us about four of your wedding suppliers.
On the 1st day of each month,
all 'complete' entries received in the prior month will be posted
on truebride.com.au for the entire month and made available
for both members and visitors to view and vote upon. A member or
a visitor can vote for their preferred entrants once only, but may
vote for more than one entrant.
At the end of each month the
TWO brides with the most votes join our finalists. Every month we
post new entrants online.
The Finals will be held early
in 2012. All finalists are posted online for the entire month and
the bride who receives the most votes during this month will become
our 2011 Bride of the Year!
