How we met: Chris and I met online at RSVP when I was moving from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane. We spoke on the phone for ten days prior to meeting. Chris then asked me to meet him at a bar in New Farm for drinks and tapas. All I can say about that night is that it was LOVE and first sight and we have been together ever since.

The Marriage Proposal: After 6 months of dating I can home from work (now living in Brisbane with Chris) one Friday lunch time to find long stem red roses all the way up the internal staircase, which lead to two envelopes.

In one envelope was a beautiful note explaining his love for me and in the other envelope was the rest of my pampering day planned out (I only work half days on Fridays) with ten clear well planned instructions.
1 Call mum and tell her I know (she has known for weeks)
2. Go to the shops and buy a dress with voucher
3 Booked into Oscar Oscar for a blow-dry
4 Booked into MAC make up for makeup (my favourite)
5 Lunch with Mum
6 Go home get changed and pack overnight bag
7 Limo to pick me up at 6pm and take me to the Stamford (where Chris booked the suite ….AMAZING)
8 Romantic dinner with Chris in a candlelit room (Siggis Room service and verve champagne)
9 Then Chris proposed on one knee and of course I said YES!!!!
10 The BEST night if my life so far but then there was the WEDDING DAY!

Planning our Wedding: I always wanted a small and intimate wedding at the beach but after browsing True Bride my mind changed so many times.
We finally decided on a Brisbane Wedding in a chapel followed by a cocktail wedding reception for 100 hundred guests. I had so much fun organising our wedding, we had no hiccups what so ever and all the people involved were so helpful.

Our Wedding Day: Our wedding ceremony was held at Latrobe Chapel in Paddington, Brisbane. It was a gorgeous little blue and white chapel, with wooden floors, red carpeted aisle and chandeliers. I was walked down the aisle by my big brother to see my amazing husband ….oh what a feeling!!
The wedding ceremony was the best part of my day and I have never been as excited as I was at this moment. I wish we could do it all again in slow motion as it all happened so quickly.

Our wedding party consisted of our good friends and we had invited 100 guests to celebrate our very special day with us. We chose the Riverlife Centre at Kangaroo Point for our wedding reception venue because we wanted a wedding venue with breathtaking views, modern setting and great atmosphere.

Our Honeymoon was the best holiday of my lifetime. We chose to honeymoon in Bali as we wanted a relaxing and pampering holiday. We also went to Nusa Lembongan for a couple of days which was amazing. We loved our honeymoon so much we are going back in May for another week.
