Honeymoon Registry
How it Works

Step 1: Agreement

Firstly, review the terms and conditions related to the honeymoon registry and if you are comfortable with these, you will be required to accept them to move on. View Terms and Conditions
Step 2: Select your destination Select and book your desired honeymoon destination, or at least have in mind your dream honeymoon destination.
Step 3: Setup online registry Once you have determined your destination you can establish your online registry. This includes a special message to your guests telling them where you plan on going and how much you appreciate their assistance in helping you get there.
Step 4: Honeymoon registry card We will provide you with registry cards for your guests, which explain that you have a Honeymoon Registry. You will need to distribute the cards with your wedding invitations sent to your family and friends.
Step 5: Contributions & guest messages A detailed record of all contributions and messages received towards your honeymoon will be held for you online, so you may track the progress towards the honeymoon of your dreams.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why would our guests use the Honeymoon Registry? Apart from all the time saved from running around to find you that perfect wedding gift, they will be thrilled to know that they have contributed towards something that means a lot to you.
How do we benefit from using the Honeymoon Registry? Not only will your honeymoon be paid off faster than you ever dreamed, the chances of doubling up on a toaster, iron or a coffee maker will be minimised!
How do our guests contribute?

True Bride does not take payments online to avoid any security issues with transactions over the internet. Instead, your guests go online and 'pledge' how much they wish to contribute towards your Honeymoon and key in their personalised message to you.

To personally experience what your guests will, we have established a 'sample registry' to which you can contribute purely as an excercise to experience our honeymoon registry. The honeymoon registry has been established for the bride & groom, 'Julia Roberts & Richard Gere'. So click on the Bridal Registry link above and insert one of their names to find their registry.

What if our guests don't have internet access? If your guests do not have access to the internet or you feel they are uncomfortable pledging on line, True Bride can include a contact number on the insert cards for guests to call and contribute to your registry via a phone call.
What are our guest's payment options? To alleviate security concerns, True Bride will invoice offline for the amount your guests have pledged. The invoice will be sent to them by email and if requested by post and/or fax. They can then make payment by way of, electronic bank transfer, cheque or credit card, Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard, (note, a 4% fee is charged for credit card payments to cover bank charges).
Is there a specified time when all contributions are required to be made? Yes, generally the registry will close a few days after your wedding date, which we outline on the registry card sent with the wedding invitation. However, if you would like it to remain open for longer or close it earlier, please advise beforehand.
How can we be sure that we will receive the contributions? True Bride Pty Ltd is a registered Australian company with the Australian Securities Investment Commission (ASIC), since Sep 2000, our ACN is 094 501 612, our registered office is in Warrandyte, Victoria and we have been online since June 2001. We are also registered for GST, with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), our ABN is 90 094 501 612. We guarantee that all funds paid to us by your guests will be passed on to you. To satisfy yourself that we are NOT a disreputable company, we recommend you conduct your own research with ASIC and the ATO.
When will we receive the contributions? All 'cleared' funds will be sent to you either by cheque or transferred electronically to your nominated account. For bank transfers, the account holder must be at least one person named in the registry and a signed instruction/authorisation to transfer must be completed. Any outstanding balance will have to wait until the funds are cleared. These will be dealt with in the same manner as described above.
What if a pledged amount is not paid by a guest? True Bride will make every reasonable effort to chase up contributions to your registry. Reminder emails will be sent in order to gather all contributions. However, if a guest refuses to contribute, True Bride cannot legally enforce payment. That is, if a guest doesn't want to honour their gift, we cannot make them.
