We started talking in a Brisbane chat room 8 years ago and then we met up a few weeks after that and have been together ever since.

Matt proposed to me while we were at dinner with my folks, his folks and some close friends. Of course I said yes and we decided on a casual themed Brisbane Wedding.

We were engaged for over two and a half years and set that date about 6 months in. So we had around 18 months to 2 years to get everything we wanted to arrange our dream Brisbane wedding.

Our wedding was held in May, it was a gorgeous morning. Very relaxed and fun. I was full of butterflies and I think Matt was just really nervous!

The day went so quickly as we had a dawn ceremony and everything was over by lunch time.

It was so special to have everyone there that was close to us and who we share our lives with. Matt's little brother even flew in from the UK to see us get married.

We had a very casual ceremony on the pier as the sun was coming up. It was magical.

Our wedding reception was held at the Full Moon Hotel, Sandgate Queensland. We had a buffet breakfast and could not have asked any more of the staff. They were wonderful and made sure everything was perfect.

Matt and I wandered around and spoke to everyone there which was lovely and we thanked them personally for coming.

Coffs Harbour was a beautiful honeymoon destination, we had five wonderful nights there with no one else around!
