When I graduated in Brussels, Belgium my University sent me to the United States for management training. At that time it was my biggest dream to go to work in the US so when I got my approval for my job I was so excited and was planning to stay there for 3 to 4 years and continue my life in United States NEVER in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that I would meet the man of my dreams which would change my entire life and would end up in the Land down under.

The first time I met Chris was at work on the 28th May 2006. I felt a spark, something that we girls only know about it .. good but strange. It felt like I had known him from another planet for a very long time. He easily fit himself into my heart and he had something very strong and strange like a magnet which would absorb me into him.

Ever since I met him, the pieces have all fell into place just like a puzzle. Chris found the last piece of puzzle when he proposed to me on Feb 14th 2007. OH MY GOD it was an amazing day...

Chris is more than anything or anyone I have imagined and I never knew that a love like this exists. No doubt, words alone cannot express how we feel about each other. We love each other more than anything. IT'S THAT SIMPLE.

We then had six to seven months to arrange our wedding and wow what a wedding it was. We had four ceremonies and two receptions. Two ceremonies were in Persia in August 2007, it was amazing. We held the reception at our own house where we hosted 200 people with the help of a professional catering and party planning company. The entire house and garden were glowing with lights. We walked across the red carpet to reach the guest's and went straight on the dance floor ... even though I thought I wouldn’t be able to dance because of my dress but I was so happy that nothing could stop me, we danced for the entire night and still around 3 am I had lots of energy and could have gone for marathon run.

Our 3rd and 4th ceremony and reception took place in Australia at the Gold Coast in December 2007. They were simple but amazingly beautiful. I got a chance to wear my dress again, even though its sounds weird but I was so happy because I really love my dress. It was one of the hardest things to select in organising our wedding. I felt like I had a choice of a thousand dresses, but had to choose just one. In the end it was perfect and I wish there was a job in life where I could wear my dress everyday. MAYBE ONE DAY THERE WILL!

We are having 2 honeymoons because of the wedding type we had. Our first honeymoon was a trip around Persia which was perfect and our second honeymoon will be in March 2008 in Fiji … Oooh so looking forward to that!
